Citing inspiration from Foo Fighters and Gojira may seem like a strange combination but Polish punks Skøv don’t seem to either care nor see why it would be strange.
With Mother Nature at the heart of ‘Feast’, it is easy to see that Skøv harbour an attitude of conscientiousness that goes hand in hand with the punk mentality. A hatred of greed and thoughtlessness that is portrayed here through anthemic choruses that pull no punches with its lyrics and verses with desperate vocals backed by melodic fuzz.
Skøv are showing themselves to be a gem and will soon be flying the flag for heavy from Eastern Europe.
