Everyone likes a bit of thrash. Deep down everyone does. People claim they don’t but there’s a little soft spot deep down that resurfaces when certain tracks come on. 3000AD are doing their best on ‘Cells’ to reignite that.
With an intro that could lead you to think they’re one of many bands it starts well enough but it’s the persistent energy that keeps you listening. From the vocals to the drumming, this is an engaging metal track, thrash or not.
Thrash gets bad press and often it’s justified, but there are bands out there creating exciting music in the thrash area and 3000AD are one of them. Hit play. You know you want to.
