Some music is better with beer. It’s a fact and one that doesn’t mean you have to be hammered to enjoy it. ‘Another Day Goes By’ from American metallers Minatory is one such song.
The pounding drums and vicious opening riffs are brought together with snarling vocals and it feels like one big dysfunctional family coming together to enjoy a holiday against all odds.
It’s not all beating you down though, as it’s the more melodic elements that truly tie it all together. The soaring guitars during instrumental sections are what sets this very much above a lot of metal you hear at the moment. This is a project to keep an ear out for.
