Finally, Jimmy Eat World aren’t so lonely on the bill anymore! 2000 Trees have just announced their first wave of bands and the festival bill is already packed with some of the best acts across punk, indie and rock.
One of the most exciting bands on the lineup so far is definitely Creeper, the goth punks marked their return last November with the theatrical punk banger ‘Born Cold’ and have since followed it up with yet another great song in ‘Annabelle’. There’s no doubt in our minds that Creeper will smash their performance, it’s hard not to when your songs are that massive.
Joining the Southampton punks are indie lads, The Amazons. No strangers to the festival circuit, the band have done the rounds touring their newest album, Future Dust and are on track to becoming a certified arena band. There’s a significant indie presence across the weekend with The Joy Formidable, Lady Bird and Dream Nails also on the bill.
If you’re after something heavy, 2000 Trees has you properly sorted with hardcore best boys Knocked Loose bringing their yarp to Gloucestershire as well as Ithaca, The St Pierre Snake Invasion and We Never Learned To Live.
There are lots of Trees regulars on the bill as well as punk bands that are gonna make you party (I’m looking at you Dinosaur Pile Up, Hot Milk and Nervus) and boy is this lineup shaping up to be lots of fun.
