Bloodstock have provided us with an early festive gift as four new bands have been announced for Bloodstock 2019!
Saturday night will see the titans of thrash metal Anthrax descend on Catton Park. The band will be recording their new studio album in early 2019 meaning new material could be aired during their set. One thing is for sure, that night at Bloodstock will see us all caught in a mosh!
Dimmu Borgir return as UK exclusives and will be special guests on Sunday night. The Norwegian Black Metal legends released their first album in 8 years back in May. Check out ‘Council of Wolves and Snakes’ from that album below!
Dethcore also comes to Bloodstock in the form of Thy Art Is Murder. The Aussie crew will be performing on the main stage on Saturday armed with new record ‘Dear Desolation’ and even dropped a new track just a few weeks ago!
Last but certainly not least, TesseracT will be bringing their progressive djent and metal mash-up to Catton Park on Friday. Fourth album ‘Sonder’ has propelled the band to new heights as they recently sold out Shepherds Bush Empire in London.
These acts join the already announced headliners Sabaton and Scorpions at Catton Park in 2019. When you add the likes of Code Orange, Cradle of Filth, Soilwork, Rotting Christ, Eluveitie, and Grand Magus to the mix, the weekend is shaping up very nicely indeed!
