Great! Just recharging our batteries for the next part of our „ONE MORE FOR THE ROAD TOUR”
You’ve been around the UK recently. How was that?
HARD ROCK HELL was a very special and traditional Rock festival. Great bands, great people and loud as hell. perfect opportunity for a first show in Wales. We also were very happy to share the stage with our friends from NEW GENERATION SUPERSTARS once more. Great guys, great band!
Have you got any more plans for the rest of the year?
We are just about to finish our Germany Tour with a big show in our hometown. After that we play another couple of shows in Austria and Switzerland. And then it’s time for a beer on the back porch and reflect this crazy year…
We’re heading fast into 2018, what can we expect from you next year?
We will travel new countries and do what we do best. Play. I just started writing for the next record. We will also be in the UK in February for two shows. We won’t be bored for sure.
Festival announcements are starting to come thick and fast. Can we expect your name to be up on posters for next summer?
Hell Yeah, we’re happy to be part of next year’s Sweden Rock Festival for example. Rockmantic Weekender in the UK, Rock Hard Festival in Germany and so many more. You’ll get a whole lotta chances to see us live all over Europe in 2018.
Back to this year, what has been the highlight for you in 2017?
The release of our record „ONE MORE FOR THE ROAD“ couldn’t have turned out better for us. The fans seem to love it and Rock Radio Stations spin it on hot rotation. Our album tour was amazing and we also got to play some really cool shows such as this year’s HELLFEST in France or playing for the troops of operation “Resolute Support” in Afghanistan. This year went by so fast, it’s crazy.
Have you picked up any albums released this year that you think are really special?
John Mellencamp’s ‘Sad Clowns and Hillbillies’ is one of my favorites this year.
Finally, what’s the big aim for The New Roses? World domination I assume?
We don’t wanna dominate anything or anyone. We just wanna keep living the dream, travel the world and make people happy by playing Rock’n’Roll.
